I am SO writing to Ruger AND Davidson's to let them know we want another run of these convertibles!

There is a LGS with a 17 Hunter 17HMR NIB for $479. I am gonna make it mine if I can get there this week. Has anyone ever successfully had a 17M2 cylinder manufactured latey? Tree rat season opens up Oct 5 here...
 
The 17 mach2 cylinder. Ruger stopped including the mach2 cylinder early in production.

You can find a cylinder pretty easy.I've had two in the last couple of years.Sold one of the guns and still have the other.Love the 17 m2 cartridge.
 
If I remember right it was Brownells that had them for awhile.I bought both of mine used.One on here and the other on rimfirecentral.Try posting a WTB on both places.Dave
 
Ate lunch today with some folks from "that gun distributor on the hill" here. Asked specifically about another stainless Single Six convertible 17. Word is anything is possible; and limited-distributor order runs are only 4-500 per order away with Ruger.
