I always wanted a one of a kind gun. I wonder if one could get a Ruger Single Six in 32 H&R Magnum and a Single Six cylinder in 22LR or 22 Magnum and bore the cylinder out to 25 ACP cartridge dimensions and fit it to the Single Six 32 H&R frame ? Or sleeve the 32 H&R Magnum cylinder to 25 ACP dimensions. Then one would have to have the Single Six 32 H&R Magnum barrel sleeved down to 25 ACP bore size or have a Single Six 22 LR / 22Magnum bored and rifled to 25 ACP dimensions. I am sure it could be done and probably has been done.

This thread on Cast Boolits may help:

I believe that OP posted here as well about his .25-bore Single Six, don't remember his user name here to search.

I made a RUGER .32 H&R mag into a .218 BEE using a Ruger .22 barrel and a .22 cylinder reamed to .218 BEE with a modified reamer because I shortened the case necks so they would chamber in the Ruger cylinder. A pretty simple conversion. And a unique and fun cartridge in a single action. Of course I reload them but I reload all my ammo.

That sounds interesting. You should call it the .218 HONDO. 😁

I bought a 9 X 25 Dillon barrel for my Colt Delta-Elite. As soon as I get it fitted, we shall see. I like bottle-neck handgun cartridges: .32-20, .22 Jett, .400 Corbon, .256 Win, .224 Kay-Chuk, and .38-40. These I have.
If you're using Dillon dies, watch for an "oddity" on the OD of the case neck, some dies undersized the ID and scratched the neck OD really bad and Dillon will replace the size die.

I have a 9x25 barrel for with a Remington R1 longslide, it's a backstop thumper for sure and if you need documented load data I have some.

Oh, the .357 Sig in a 1911 is a hoot also.

I started the project with my purchase of a set of carbide Dillon dies. No issues with the cases so far resized to 9x25, but in that the barrel had not been fit, I am sure the headspace is too much for the cases to chamber.
I have since acquired some factory loads and provided a box to my gunsmith.
I would feel grateful for any loading data. I suggest private message. I feel like I have dragged this thread far enough off topic.
I wonder if I could get a chamber insert to fire .25 acp in a Ruger Hawkeye?

Yes it is possible just as the 9x19 was eventually chambered in revolvers. The only problem is almost no one would buy one, not when you can get the same gun in the much cheaper to shoot .22 rimfire.
