1979 Stainless Blackhawk .357

I have one chamber that is sticking the spent case after shooting all six 357 mag rounds.
I have lived with the one chamber doing this for many years.
I have not contacted Ruger about it because of it's age and it's not that hard to unstick the case.
But the feeling of making it right crops up at the range, have not asked about how to fix it till now.
The gun cleanes up nicely and shines like new after shooting years of hot rounds. Would I buy this gun again? Yes

do you "know" which chamber is the culprit? do you notice or can "see" anything different about that chamber, than the others?? can you possibly measure said chamber and compare it to the others? if it is the same size or undersized, I would carefully polish (hone?) that chamber, do not distort it or remove material to make it bigger than the other chambers, you just want to remove any machine/tooling marks/roughness??? whatever......most of the times it is only caused by folks shootig lots of 38 special, then going back to 357 mags, but that may not be the case,sounds to us, like a rough chamber, thats all...keep it simple, I no longer have access to a vapor hone myself........ah the joys of retirement........

I have a Single Six with a similar issue, (relatively) tough extraction on a couple of chambers.

I took a .22 caliber stainless steel "tornado"-style cleaning brush and chucked it up in a drill, and very carefully ran that through the chambers. It helped a bit.

Another option would be to send your cylinder to CAS to have it reamed to the proper size. I'd do that with my gun, but he doesn't do .22s. He already did my .45 Colt.
