Bolt Release Disengaging Magazine On Mk III 22/45

If you have a MKIII version, it's very easy to think the magazine is fully inserted, when it's not. Give it a good tap with your palm next time. I removed my magazine safety and installed one of Sam's bushings and the magazines go in and drop out very easily now.

Trigger kit for 10/22 at reasonable price?

Why not read up on how to do your own trigger job on the factory parts? I did my own by using a diamond file and then stoning the hammer, where it contacts the sear and brought the break down to three pounds of pull and very cleanly, with very little pre-travel. The whole job only took a...

    Red Dot Advice

I have one on my 10/22 and it's clearer than the BSA and Tru-Glo I tried first. Holds zero very well too. Very good quality for the price.

Fiber Optic sight options for SR9

Here it is, August 2010 and according to Williams, these sights have never been on the market. They told me to check back in January of 2011. WTF is going on with them?

    LCP VS S&W Bodyguard 380

I was at an indoor range today and the Smith & Wesson rep was there letting the employees use the Bodyguard 380 and 38 special he brought with him. I got to try the 380 and did a comparison with my chrome slide LCP with a Crimson Trace laser on it. We all agreed the LCP had a much lighter and...

    SR9/SR9c: Fiber Optic Sights Better?

I see that Williams Gun Sight makes fiber optic sight sets to fit the SR9/SR9c. Does anyone have them and if so, do they help get on target faster? Any problems with the the fiber optic coming out of the holder or any other problems? I'm 65 and I think the extra brightness would help me, as I...

    sr9 holster

Whatever you buy, make sure it's IDPA approved, or they won't let you use it. It has to be non-collapsible, so you can re-holster with one hand. This is why most IDPA shooters use a kydex holster.

Ruger SR9c, Ghost Ultimate Trigger Bar; Need Help

I read in another thread that the 3.5 Ghost Ultimate only gets the trigger pull down to around 5lbs, not the 3.5 as advertised. That's why I said I wonder if the 1.5lbs difference is worth it.

Ruger SR9c, Ghost Ultimate Trigger Bar; Need Help

The factory trigger breaks very cleanly at 6.5lbs, on my SR9c. If the Ghost Ultimate 3.5lb will only lower it to about an actual 5lbs, is it really worth replacing?

Ruger SR9c, Ghost Ultimate Trigger Bar; Need Help

Does anyone in this group, who has installed the Ghost Ultimate, 3.5lb. drop in trigger bar, in their Ruger SR9, or SR9c, live in West Michigan? I'm pretty handy working on guns and have looked at the videos and instructions on installation, but I'm still a little leery about it and would like...
