He does have a nice set up & gets to fire all types of firearms, and I think for the most part his reviews are accurate.
I'm sure he also gets a lot of free ammo also.

I can 'take him or leave him'. My opinion only, but sometimes he is interesting and other times he is just using air time.
No...I don't hate him at all, he seems like a really nice guy.
I just don't watch most of his videos because they're always overly/unnecessarily long, he just talks WAY too much for me!
He could cut the time in half and still have a viable review.

He should open a bed and breakfast. I would visit for sure.
I enjoy his videos but rarely get through one in one try. I find myself clicking a video and realizing I’m already in the middle of it.
Pay attention to his thumbs, they are freakishly long.

Ive seen one or two if his vids. No real opinion of him
I actually like his long winded videos. His style of talking is easy to listen too. And he goes into some pretty good details about the guns.

You can be jealous of someone who has what used to be yours. You can be envious of someone who has something you want and will never have. But to hate requires someone doing something terrible against you that you don't deserve.
There's only a couple of people I hate. Hickok45 certainly doesn't qualify.
However, I do DISLIKE 22plinkster. He has never wronged me, but some of his "shared knowledge" is pure (incorrect) WAG. While I do respect the 1st amendment, I wish for (all knowing) censors that would shut down disinformation. Of course, most of today's politicians would be in different lines of work if that were possible.

He actually tells you who supplies the ammo AND guns not from his collection....every video...
Well he's 6' 9" tall and played college basketball......
It wasn’t until 2015 that I was able to get my first firearms since a .22 and a BB rifle when I was young. I learned a lot from Hickok45. Could tell he had been a teacher because his presentations were like a lesson plan. Was tempted to offer to "substitute" when he broke his leg

Point being, just because he says the grip is comfortable and the buttons and levers are all easy to reach, doesn’t mean I can reach them!

Did anyone besides me notice just how that Super Grade Model 70 was to operate? It seemed to hang up very slightly as he was ramming the bolt closed.

I don't hate Hickock 45. I wouldn't mind hanging out with him one weekend though. I have a friend that has a 25 yard pistol range sat up with steel targets in his front yard. You have to drive a little ways up the dirt road that is on his property if you want to stretch out a little ways with a rifle. He cut in a rifle range on his land. He did have it sat up out to 375 at one time but the last time I was down there he had let some of it go. He has 1/3 size steel silhouette targets sat up at 100, 150, 200, 250, & 300 yards. The last time I shot rifle there He had a 6"x6" plate sat up at 300. It was fun shooting at it & hearing the ding. I was cheating though as I was shooting off a rest.

I'm with a few folks,, who neither like or dislike him.
Why?
Because I've never watched anything by him, or even know anything about him other than what little I see posted here about him.
But I'd have to meet him in person, spend time talking to him, before I could make an accurate feeling of like or dislike.
Hate? Highly doubtful,, because I reserve that deep a feeling for the true scum who deserve it.

I like him, even if he is a Glock guy,., he seems to have a good handle on different firearms and I will say one thing for sure... he can shoot pretty dern good....
I was totally against pocket carry until I watched his video on it. Still not a fan but can see where it might be the way to go for some and in some situations....

It's just entertainment with a few well-known (and occasionally incorrect) explanations. I like the guy. Q: How did he recover from that little moto incident so quickly?

I do not consider myself anything close to an expert on firearms, and I have found his videos very valuable. In fact, it is because of Hickock45 that my primary home defense gun is a Glock 17. Years before getting a Glock I had handled some and did not like what they felt like or looked like, but when Hickock45 said that the ONLY brand of gun that he would trust his life to, right out of the box, was a Glock. He said that the reputation for reliability of GLock was well deserved, and while there are guns that are more accurate or aesthetically pleasing, that Glock cannot be beat for reliability. Seeing that video made me decide to take another look at Glock. Not long after that, my Glock 17 with two extra mags sits in my bedside table, ready for that bump in the night. I enjoy my Rugers, and have found my most often carried gun, an LC9s totally reliable, I trust my Glocks in part because of Hickock45's recommendations.

Like all information that comes through the "interweb" I don't take his videos at face value, but I find very little to disagree with. He tends to repeat himself a lot which I find a little tiresome, but overall I've enjoyed all of his videos that I've come across. I don't search him out, but when I happen across one I'll generally take the time and watch it.
As I have said, I have seen a couple of his shows, but only because someone linked to them. I honestly do not have time for random opinions on random firearms. Same for TikTok, I have better things to do with my time.
I have no issue with the man. I watched his vids years ago when I came across him on u tube. I’ll still come across something new and watch it on occasion if I’m interested in what he has in hand.

He comes across to me as being a pleasant old guy, and old guys do tend to talk a bit more than is necessary. But that's OK, I'm old and talk too much too, so I get it it.....The main thing that sticks out most about him to me though, is his ability to stand there and shoot whatever gun he picks up so well, and without added optics, sand bags, benches, or even a tree to lean on....I mean the guy can really-actually shoot, he's the real deal.

Xenophobia was coined in the 1800s and was used to mean "fear of strangers."
I like him. He gives me an opportunity to see a wide variety of guns perform that I never will get to try. His hands are huge, so he's not a fan of small firearms. Reminds me of a photo I saw once of Detroit Pistons Bad Boy Bill Laimbeer pheasant hunting with friends. It took me a while to realize he wasn't carrying a BB gun. It was just 6' 11" Laimbeer with a shotgun.

What is there not to like. His videos are informative and very well done. He's also a very good shot and seems like a very nice guy.
