Ok, I'm hurting for something to talk about. Just wondered what your favorite razor is. I just turned 80 so I've been at it for a long time. I always own an electric but just to get that 5 oclock shadow if we are going out. I always had to try every different razor that came out. Double blade, triple blade, four and five. Finally about 20 some years ago I settled on the Gillette disposable Sensor 3. Any more blades than 3 feels like you are dragging a lawn rake across your face. So, I've used that razor for a long time. But recently I noticed they just had slipped a lot, of course they are all made in China probably. Anyway after trying a few my favorite is now the disposable Bic Titanium Flex 3. Just curious what others prefer?

Just a normal morning routine for me.

+1 on the standard Bic disposable.
I have better luck since switching to a shaving gel rather than shaving cream.

I used to use a Schick double bladed razor then switched to disposables for at least a decade. About ten years ago, I found an old safety razor in a drawer with some new blades. I started using that. The last blades I bought were $11 for 100. I have a beard so I don't have much face to shave, blades last about three weeks.

Gillette Sensor II with the double blades, I don’t need the 3 blade contraprions. Can’t find blades in stores anymore but Amazon has em, well at least they did. I bought about a years worth about a year ago and will be needing them soon, hopefully still available.

Gilette 4 blade on head and neck.

Trimmer/clipper on beard /g0atee.

Once forgot my razor and gel on a vacation to Jamaica. Used the wife's Venus razor and some foo foo gel for her legs. Worked just fine.

I use a 50+ year old Gilette safety razor and am always trying different brands of blades. I used to get them from an online outfit called tryablade.com where you could buy double edge blades priced per ea h blade, made it easy to try a variety of blades from all over the world, and they had dozens of different types - but they have apparently gone south. Right now I'm on a 100 pack of Derbys. I think they cost about $10 ordered online and will last me well over a year. I change blades about once a week or a little more often as needed.

I use whatever my wife brings home "on sale"........... same goes for shaving creams/soaps.

I've discussed here, shaving is difficult for me. My beard is not extremely thick, but each little hair is like scotch broom. There is nothing I can do to comfortably shave, however I have tried so many products of so many brands.
@sfhogman at one time graciously gifted me a couple double-edged razors with all the accessories. As nice as they were, they were just not aggressive enough so I passed them on to someone that wanted them. I still use the brush and shaving mug Jeff sent me.
I continue to experiment with different razors, and although some work better, none work well. The best has been some Gillette products, but I just cannot buy their woke merchandise, so I buy mostly Schick or BIC. I've tried Harry's and Shave Club. They are expensive, without the performance to make them worth the extra cost.
My shaving razor drawer is full of all the experiments I have tried. Now I just grab something from that drawer, always hoping this time will be different. It never is.
