I have a No Fear shirt from the 80s that says The older I get, the better I was.

I'm getting past the billboard t shirt phase. Plain, white or black shirt $3. Bands, guns, camo, deer head on it and all of a sudden it is $30 and then I'm gonna put on a flannel shirt over it most of the time. Plain cotton shrinks and feels wet and sweaty all spring, summer and fall. I wish I had all that money back I spent advertising for someone else all those years.
I NEVER dreamed it would happen but I really like those kinda plasticy, stretchy, fishing, anti UV shirts. Short sleeve, long sleeve with or with out the hoody on it.
They would be TERRIBLE for welding, but I've got a million regular cotton T's I rarely wear if I need one.
The less it has ON IT the better.

the best wax for your stickI bought a Mr. Zogs Sex Wax long sleeve T in 1984. The thing is nearly transparent these days. The wife refuses to throw it away, I guess it takes her back to our “childhood”.

Back in the day, I had shirts from Blackbird with the F-14 and A-6. They shrunk too much and no longer fit.

Looks like something that could be a trend.....be great under a toga for supporting the boys....."by PIAW Corp".
One thing about t-shirts in general is that I have for most of my life preferred wearing a t-shirt outside my jeans rather than tucked in. It doesn't seem to take long before the shirt has little holes in it, I assume from being pressed against my belt buckle. So none of my t-shirts, even my favorites seem to survive more than a few years if I actually wear them. Maybe if I were not a bit thicker in the middle than I should be I could be comfortable tucking the shirt in and then having it stick around for awhile. I do own some really nice, heavy cotton t-shirts with Triumph motorcycle logos, even though I no longer ride that brand of bike.
