Your favorite movie weapon?

Those look like Colt Walkers. They were the Magnums of the 1800's.
Big heavy bastards 😎
Clint had two pair; converted to 38 blanks, or unconverted for close-ups. Some sources state 5 rounds of '5-in-one's, and kirst konversions, but the cylinder on at least one, while obviously not original, has no cap-nipple notches, nor separate bits like the kirst. I suspect 'several' are flooting about as The Real Ones Used In The Movie. They, like the big rifle-caliber singlechot elgins and others, were carried in double holsters on the front of the saddle and why they were called horse pistols.

Every firearm in every Star Wars movie has an optic.

No one in any Star Wars movie looks through the optic on their firearm while firing it. They all fire from the hip. And it's fairly rare for anyone to get hit, so I suppose warfare in the future will be more humane because everyone will be firing blindly and missing everything.

John wayne also had an m70 in 458, for hitari. That was the first Big Gun on this boy's wishlist, with stewart granger 's 577 westley richards 577. and a newer one is a ruger reworked by butch searcy into a 470 nitro. also, a later 600 jurraissic, that was all butch, not off a ruger. Cadillacs and dinosauers 460 weatherby would be great. Was it j.d.jones did the .577 tyrannosauer? In an m17 enfield. In the first doc savage, the badguy had a new 600 nitro double for sniper duty, but dident know about the special diffraction built into the nominally (i.e. otherwise) bulletproof window.
Art Alphin of A-Square invented the 577 T-Rex. In Doc Savage, they claimed it was a 577, or 600 NE, can't remember as it has been 30 plus years since I have seen the movie. The rifle used in that scene was a post 64 M70 Winchester in .458.....gotta love Hollywood "license", right? In The Last Safari, the WR 577NE used by Stewart Granger was his own personal rifle. He actually hunted quite a bit with it.

Dident see doc, i read the book so long ago i think they referred to the cartridge by comparing it to a large cigar; that aughta be roundabout 60 ring gage. Duke's Hitari gun is often referred to as a pre 64. Just looked it up, havent read it in like 30 years, its not 577 tyranno, its 585 nyati i was thinking of, by ross seyfreid. Stewey apparently had a trio of wr doubIes. Sometimes i feel i might just get a bit jealous of that kinda money, but i get over it.

Mini-14 was the weapon of choice for Hannibal, Face Man, B.A., and Howlin' Mad Murdock! Long before The Marksman!

And...the only realistic thing about The A-Team is that they never hit who they were shooting at with their Gucci stainless folders...hit everything around them though :ROFLMAO:

Did anyone EVER die in one of their confrontations. Even the bad guys escaped from the jeeps that got blown up 15ft in the air. Remember, they were problem solvers, not assassins!

Them and McGuyver. One would stick stuff together with chewing gum and the other would chop crap up and weld it together, and whatever it was, it always worked, exactly as planned, without fail. One refused to have anything to do with guns, and the other had to be at least knee deep in brass by the end of an episode, but nobody ever got killed or even shot.
