Looking for .512 flat nose bullets 500-515 grain. Also need .433 bullets for a German rifle weight 375 to 400 grain.

I can't offer any suggestions, but would like to ask what the .512's are for?

You might give Missouri Bullets a call, they've always been first quality in the handgun bullets I've ordered...don't know if they do rifle stuff, however. Best Regards, Rod

I have a vintage 1872 Navy Springfield Rolling Block (rem mfg) 50-70 Government that I've wanted to shoot since I was a kid. It's in very good condition other than needing an extractor installed and some sight replacement for the "non-original" sights. It could be fired, and a ramrod could be used to extract the brass, but I would like to have it examined and repaired by a gun smith that's qualified in these vintage rifles. Starline has the brass, but I would like to make sure I have a good source for the bullets before I proceed. After fifty years of waiting, I want it all to come together at one time.

I'll be watching your thread for information.

You might try talking to Lee Shaver. He is an excellent gunsmith who specializes in black powder cartridge rifles.

Thank you. I book marked the link and will email him when I get a chance to put together some info and pics. I had it all "bundled up" ready to send out at one time, but that was on another computer now long gone.
