You're gonna love shooting that big hog. I've got a 4-3/4" barreled Cimarron 45LC Model P (blued w/heat treat coloring on framework) I found at my LGS that came from factory as a bird's head model, but changed it out to the regular plow handle when I found a seller selling a perfect grip frame and 2 one-piece grips on Ebay. A joy to shoot with its light trigger action.
I now also have the 22LR conversion kit for it and on order right now a 45ACP cylinder, to make it a very versatile shooter.
I also added more wood glue to the grip block joints to give the grips better holding recoil strength as some guys with these type grips have mentioned the grips separated where they were glued.
