Single six. Works fine with the 22 Lr. cyl. Will lockup 60 to 70 % of the time with the 22 mag. cyl.
I cannot see any difference. between the two. Timing is fine. Suspect the Cyl. Input please. Thanks.

Is it locking up in the same place when it locks up?

New Model or Old Model?

Is the cylinder numbered to the revolver?

Did that. no burrs, or anomalies. I do not have access to a comparitor or I would be able to see any minor difference.

No. The lockup is variable.

I suspect the pawl but more input please.

Per Kanook:

Per me:
Did you just get the gun with the problem?
Did the problem just begin all of a sudden?
Did you just get a different cylinder?
Is the diameter of the ratchet teeth hub the same?
Did the problem begin after taking the gun apart?

A pawl can work fine with one cylinder but not with another in the same gun, that's why I asked all the questions. But the pawl can be fitted to work fine with both cylinders. Has the problem cylinder ever worked 100% in that gun?

No. This is a new rev. and the owner just started to shoot the mag cyl. Locks up to the point that the hammer will not move at all. When you open the loading gate and spin the cyl. the action may or may not work. Dry fire it with the mag. cyl. and it will lock up. It is not the firing pin. Live fire and it will work until it is reloaded. I will look at the pawl today. I have a new one in the shop.

It was the pawl. Primary engagement started before the Cyl. locking bolt released. Thanks for all the input. Have a great week
