ruger single six gas ring shims?

hi, i have a single six that seems to have excess end-shake. does anyone know of any shims that will fit?
the only ones i found were from power customs. if anyones used these..did they fit?

Yes, I use Power Customs' and they work well. They are made for Colt SAs with removable cyl pin bushing and go between the cyl and the bushing to hold them in place. You'd have to glue or solder them to the Ruger gas ring though.

The proper way to fix end play is to drill out the gas ring and press in a longer one. Or weld a bead on the gas ring and file down to fit the cyl window.

some folks simply flow some tin ( solder) around a brass pin ( rod) in the center pin hole, and recut to fit, easy enough to do and NOT lose shims, washers and a bunch of loose fitting pieces ,parts. 8)
