I'm 72 and for the life of me, I can't remember ever hearing of her. Of course I remember the song but not her. Was she like a one hit wonder or something? I would think that a name like that would stick in my memory.
OK, I looked her up on Wikipedia. Now that makes me wonder more why I don't remember her.
Yes I liked Queen of Hearts, and Love's been a little hard on me. My wife and I used some of her music for our wedding. She put's a lot of energy into her music. I didn't realize how close I was to her age. (I'm older)
Guess I wasn't paying attention, cuz I'm drawing a blank on Lita Ford. I think if I had to put together a personal list of "My favorite old ladies of rock" it would include Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett, Deborah Harry, Christine McVie, and, of course, Stevie. There are probably a couple more who've slipped my mind because they haven't worked in decades, like Grace Slick, too.
Thanks, it is always nice to hear some of the oldies. First time I saw an MTV show was at a bar, in "Big Stick" MT. the night before my hunt for deer north of town.
