"Poor Man's Trigger Job"

I can't imagine how it could. I "bend" both legs of the spring in lieu of simply unhooking one leg.

While you are "dinking around" I'd totally remove the mainspring and it's strut and "de-burr"all "friction surfaces".

JMHO,

Cheapest bastard trigger job = swab the innards with UltraBrite toothpaste.
Dry-fire excessively.
Clean thoroughly.
Lubricate and shoot.

No bending required (except to pick up spent brass).

I take mine apart and smooth the sear and hammer to a square contact then bend the spring arms and do my own work so if I mess up and go too far noone is to blame except me. I usually end up with a very nice trigger pull. I haven't gone too far yet if I do I will buy new parts and start again.
