Some of you might remember this revolver. I got it new, completely trashed from Ruger. I sent it back for repairs with a very lengthy complaint letter to them.
I kindly asked for black grips instead of the rosewood they come with and to my surprise Ruger honored my wish! Honestly their customer service on this revolver went above and beyond what I complained about. I focused on the timing of the revolver prior to sending it and the timing was slightly off. I plan to send the revolver to Andy Horvath so I wasn't concerned with this. But to my surprise without even mentioning it to Ruger, the revolver came back with perfect timing!
Today I did a series of 5 pull tests and I wanted to know if this is average or what for a NM Blackhawk from Ruger. It ranged from 2lbs 15oz to 3lbs 2oz with a lot of 3lb 0oz right on the dot.
