Need Single Six Mainspring

Anyone know the part number for the mainspring for "Baby Vaquero, .32 H&R" Single Six with the short grip frame? The spring currently installed is too long and the first 4 or 5 coils are bound.

Snip it to 24 coils and it'll be perfect.

Or call Ruger and they'll know from the gun what you need and send it to you for free.

There's only 2 sizes for all single actions: with or w/o lock.

Called Ruger yesterday and there was some confusion about the proper spring. I guess it depends on who you get to help you sometimes. The I removed the spring that was installed and replaced it for now with a spare I ordered for my New Vaquero. The NV spring I think is too light but Ruger did say they will send a new Spring. The old spring is wrecked.
