Can anyone help me out, I just acquired a Model 77 Hawkeye in 308. It has the walnut stock and has only had 5 rounds through it. I was wondering what a realistic value would be. Manufactured in 2010.
Realistically , even with only five rounds through it , you have a used gun. It may be like new , but that still isn't new. Take a look at what new ones are selling for on places like gunbroker or a local shop and subtract maybe $50-$75 and that would get you close in my opinion. Don't expect to get that if you plan on trading it in though.
Which model is it? Most run 5-6 bills. A Gunsite Scout around 7, and a stainless International closer to 9. If using GunBroker, look at the past auctions to see what the actual selling prices were.
Thanks to eveyone for your info. All i know is that the bolt is like a brushed nickel and it is a Hawkeye. Please forgive my ignorance, I didn't know there were variations of the Hawkeye.
