I was wondering if anyone here owns a Hawkeye Predator in a varmit cartridge and what type of accuracy you’re getting from it. I’ve read only one review where they did handload for one in 223Rem and averaged a little over an inch groups at 100 yards. Has this been your experience with the rifle? Have you also owned the older Mark II target and gotten better results? For the sake of comparison, consider the .22-250.

Thanks!

I have a M77v in 22-250 I bought and at 100 yards the group is size of a dime and some of the new Ruger rifles really shoot well.

Original Ruger American Predator in 204 Ruger. 1" at 100 with factory 32gr Vmax and reload 39gr Sierra Blitz King was no problem. Super accurate and one of my favorite pred rifles. This one has smoked a ton of fox and yotes. It was a decent varmint getter also.....sometimes took it along for G'Hogs.

Original stocks were junk. I put on a B&C. Original bolt handles are too small for use on a frigid cold night of pred hunting. I put on a Glades Tactical.
