And holy cow can we please PLEASE leave the clock like this now?

There are something like 14 states that want to go to DST permanently. Personally I agree.

Other states want to move permanently to DST.

Florida's state legislature passed the Sunshine Protection Act in 2018 hoping to move themselves into DST. But like the 14 other states that have enacted legislation or passed a resolution in the last four years to make DST permanent, none can take effect without an act of the U.S. Congress. < end quote

Remember what?
Hadn't really considered it until I thought I was an hour too early to load some stuff bought at the farm sale yesterday. Computers and phone are self adjusting but the old pickup not so much.

Well, I didn't remember until this morning meaning I've been a hour behind all day.

But thanks for the reminder.

Thank Ben Franklin for saving your candle wax. You're going to need it when the Green New Deal is in full force and we start getting all the blackouts.

At one time DST probably served a purpose. Today for most it's just a royal PITA. Just thankful I live in Arizona so I don't have to bother with it.

We could eliminate it country wide and split the difference with a permanent 30min shift.
