I know this is a Ruger sight but everyone here seems real knowledgeable so I trust your all's opinion. I have a Rossi 44 Mag lever action and I want to upgrade the iron sights to something better then stock. I don't want tap it for a scope or put vinear sights on it but keep iron sights. Anyone have any suggestions on what type of front/rear iron sights I could purchase to upgrade? Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't know if the Rossi will accept one or not, but a Lyman's tang sight is the ultimate for a lever action carbine. It gives you a SUBSTANTIAL increase in sight radius, and an aperture sight (with interchangeable apertures).

I've always like Williams sights for their simpleness. The Rossi is a copy of the M92 Winchester (except for the safety) so sights for the '92 should work well on the Rossi.

I like filing the rear sight flat on top and filing a wide notch, and like the Winchester 94 square post. We've used that setup to kill a few bear with my Marlin .45-70 and it makes for a fast sighting system.
I replace Marlin front sights with Winchester posts and like that combination a lot.
On my Side-Folder Winchester 94 .44, I have the stock factory sights which are pretty good since the front is my favored post.

I like the standard Marble's front bead and rear barrel dovetail sights. The tang sights get in my way for a decent cheek weld and grip.

Having used mostly aperture sights on all my lever guns for a long time now, it is hard to do any better than a Williams FP or Lyman receiver sight. Your Rossi may need to have two small holes drilled and tapped in the side of the receiver to mount the sight which any gunsmith can do for cheap.

You could also look into XS sights. they make all kind of aperture sights and scout mounts (for mounting red dots and scout scopes and such).
