need a price check on a .22 single six 60-61xxx 4 1/2'' - 5''with no box and no papers. pretty decent looking but have not seen it in person.

I don't understand what you mean when you wrote 4 1/2"-5". If you are talking about the barrel length then ruger never made a Super Single-Six with a 4 1/2 in. or 5 in. bl. The did make a couple of 4 5/8 in bls. with the 60 or 61 prefix serial number. Good luck getting a letter on one as to date only one will letter. They made some 5 1/2 in bl. guns, as a matter of fact that is the most common length. RENE list the Super Single-Six with a digit prefix serial number with a 5 1/2 in bl. 95 to 98% at $370. If it's a 4 5/8 in gun with a 60 prefix serial number that letters as such from Ruger then I would say start the bidding at $3500 to $4000 and go up!!!

my confusion on the length stems from me not knowing where to measure from, i don't think this is a 3K+ gun.....thx.

That's a 5 1/2", it's an easy mistake. Give me the 3 screw Single Sixes any day of the week over the NM. That's a pretty shooter, I'd give $300 maybe $350 and leave happy...$400 if you really wanted it.

That advice and $4.50 will buy you a latte....

I pd $300 for one that was not in perfect shape with a 4 5/8 barrel. Made about '71

You have a nice gun and not too many made in that barrel length compared to the 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 in barreled guns. But your gun is a "Single-Six". chefrob1 is talking about a "Super Single-Six" a gun with a fully adjustable rear sight.
