3 screw 30 carbine

Need information on 4digit serial number 30 carbine.possible value friend of mine just picked this up at gun show says it is mint condition no box

RENE lists "pristine" examples at $800.00

Sold a pre-fix OM last summer for $950. Included dies and brass.

Check completed auctions on Gun Broker. Prices vary a bunch.

I see low of $670 near mint / no box to $1175 new in box.

I think RENE’s guide probably nails it pretty well.

I bought a boxed with docs, no prefix, low 4 digit excellent condition, unconverted example here earlier this year for $1400. I feel very good about the purchase. Haven’t seen one nicer or cheaper since.

Bought mine (same as above) 10 years ago for $500, felt good about it then and even better about it now. I tend to agree with hitman that the RENE price guide is on target

I paid $700 at a local gunshow at the end of 23. Unconverted no turn line, but had been shot. No box, I can't remember if 1968 or 69. I'll have to go look again on that.

I bought a converted Old Model in .30 Carbine at a LGS for $1000 out the door last June. I came with the original box and the parts removed for the conversion. Otherwise it was like new. I feel well satisfied with my purchase.
