28 gauge Red Label

I have a 28 gauge English style stock Red Label 28 inch barrels serial 420 XXXXX produced in 1998 sitting in my gun safe that I have not shot in several years. I am thinking about selling it and have been looking for guns for sale to establish a price but have not had much luck. Any idea of approximate value, the gun has been a safe queen not used for hunting.

If you are patient, 1250-1500 provided you have the box, chokes etc. If it's a 50th engraved figure 1800 +/_

Mine (which is just like yours except PG stock) is priceless. I can actually KILL birds with it! And pack it all day. Since I'm 70, that's sayin' something!

Anybody that likes to hunt birds should be glad to have yours at $1500, if it's really in like-new cond. Nice wood helps a lot, too.

Ruger finally came up with a Red Label that isn't just a great duck gun.
