Anyone have a list or recommend a reference for Red Labels that were made with a connection to Ducks Unlimited? I’m curious about what was produced and where they might be. Thanks.

I'm sorry I have no information on any DU Red Labels. I will say that if you don't currently own one, I would strongly suggest getting any example. You won't be disappointed.

.....check with the RENE "Ref. of Ruger Firearms ,Vol 2" Pg 63 and the 1984 version of the Red Label 12 ga that was coin nickel finished and engraved by Ken Hurst, it was a "US Duck Stamp " commemerative, I sold mine many years ago when I collected and displayed Red Labels back in the day............nice guns but some had finish issues as I recall, why I got mine cheap after a 'DU' dinner down south and some guy was showing off and blew a LOT of money bidding,,,hell, it was a write off for his business??? ;)

Ruger and His Guns by R.L. Wilson and *The Ruger Double Action Revolvers: The Years of Production, 1953-1963* by John C. Dougan are the classic references, but they focus more on early firearms and don't comprehensively cover later special runs like the DU shotguns. They're a start for understanding Ruger's practice of special editions.

As a fellow whiskey hunter up in VT, I've chased a few of these. The big one's Jack Daniel's Red Label series with Ducks Unlimited 2006–2018, 12 bottles total think wildlife art on the classic red wrap, like Flight of the Mallard or Blue Winged Teal. Super collectible, pop up on eBay or JackDanielsbottles.com for $50–$200 depending on condition.

LoL! my special edition Single Barrel Select Jack is all I could think of on the subject of Ducks Unlimited, but not sure where it ties in with red label. sorry I got nothing on Ruger.

and since you brought it up...

my 2011 is boxed, dual signed by both master distiller Jeff Arnett and master taster Jeff Norman, and complete with hang tag and leg ring.
