Well, I beg to differ. It has 'worked' for me, just not very well. .380 will load in my 9mm Beretta 9000S, if I tap the magazine to seat the cartridges as far back as possible, and the pistol will shoot, but the recoil spring is too strong for the slide to move sufficiently to load the next...

You got an excellent deal. I love my 2¾" 9mm Speed-Six, and I paid a lot more for it than you did for your SP101 (not sure one extra round is worth the difference). The 9mm might just be perfect for that platform - a happy medium between the .38 Special and the .357 Magnum. Well done.
