Hi all. I finally landed a like new Ruger security six with a 2.75 inch barrel. My question is what belt holster is best for carrying this revolver with the least amount of bulge under my shirt?
I looked at the Simply Rugged on line and I am impressed with the form, fit, quality but does it carry the revolver with the slimest profile I can get?

As I type this my 2¾" 9mm Speed-Six rides on my hip IWB in a Don Hume H715-M WCS.

More important for concealed carry, a Lifetime Belt from Duluth Trading Company keeps the grip snuggly tucked up against my love handle.

I recently visited the offices/showroom/factory of El Paso Saddlery and was impressed with their New Ranger Belt, too. Like the Lifetime Belt, it's two layers of fused and stitched saddle leather, but dressier and available with carvings or stampings. I have some of their holsters and magazine carriers and can attest to their quality and customer service.

I carry mine in a Desantis Thumb break holster, it holds it in pretty close and high. I usually wear an un-tucked button shirt to cover. Simply Rugged is a good holster, I have a Simply Rugged holster for my GP100 and I like it a lot. Ediogenes is right on the money, a good quality gun belt is a must.

Mine rides quite nicely in an older G&G pancake. Think I got it from Robertson Trading Post down in TN for about $20 a few years back. He had scads of them at the time.
