Seems like covid scare around here all over again.
I'm only going to have two powders to start and around
2000 primers. Only loading for 3 calibers a 44 mag,,45lc,,and 357 mag. Just need somewhere to get powder and dies.

HazMat shipping charge is going to be the same regardless of amount so take that into consideration. I think Natchez has/had a free hazmat ad so others may also. Do the math and determine if/whether the shipping and hazmat costs bring ordering up to same cost as local storefront business. Can you spend the extra $$ and get half the extra expense back by not having to pay hazmat?

Luckily,, I always bought in bulk,, and haven't had to buy much powder in a while. And I watch for different places & sales etc.

That said,, for 98% of my handgun loading for those 3 calibers,, I have found that (4) powders do all I need. 2400, 4227, HS6, and Unique.
I use Unique for moderate & softer loads. I've found my best accuracy for serious handgun loads in one of the other 3 shown.

H110 isn't as "forgiving" as other powders.
I haven't tried CFE Pistol yet. But I've heard good stuff.

All of the above although I haven't bought any in a while. The best deals are local face to face sales either at planned gathering or found on local hunting and gun forums. Gun shows used to be great for powder and primers but the opportunity for the buyers flipping has prices very high. When it was no problem ordering in bulk or buying at a store, show dealers undercut retail. Now that supply is low, show dealers are retail plus.

Sometimes on line from Graf's. If you belong to a shotgun range that uses clay targets they often deliver powder and primers on order also. That is what I have been doing for the last 3 years for shot, powder, and shotgun primers.
