This is the 3rd Carbon Cub we have built so it went a little faster than the first one. We didn't keep track of the hours. The factory states 1000-1500 which depends on the time spent doing the fabric and paint process. I spend a lot of time on the covering/painting since that is what everybody sees. All of the parts are already fabricated so it is an assembly process rather than building from a set of plans like the Biplane I built in 1973 was.

This is the one I built from plans in 1973 and restored in 1995 which I still have.

Jim, you guys got it going on. I observerved your work though pics of the assembly process & recognize quality & attention to detail when I see it.. Y'all should be noted. Bravo!

Astounding, isn't it? I'm still baffled.
