Nooooo! Tell me it ain't so.....Usual Suspects.
I don't think those "suspects" know how to operate a six gun.I bet they were carrying their sixguns in open top Buscadero holsters.
So when is it ok to NOT watch your six? Packin' or not.
When carrying you can not afford to have zero situational awareness. You just can't walk through life like a zombie (most people) when carrying. The vast majority of people have zero situational awareness.

Most people are glued to their phone and can't even see when they are going to get run over from the vehicle they step in front of. How can they expect to be aware of the gun they are carrying....When carrying you can not afford to have zero situational awareness. Carrying or NOT, open or concealed. NONE OF THAT MATTERS AT ALL. You just can't walk through life like a zombie. PERIOD. Anyone thinking putting that gun on their hip is going to change that is a fool. When carrying you can not afford to have zero situational awareness. I once read an article from a highly respected gun guru stating that one disadvantage of crossdraw holsters is that someone could reach for it and take it away from you. WTF??
With a crossdraw, someone facing you can grab it but with a strong side holster someone can sneak up behind you and grab it. Which is the greater disadvantage?
I'll take crossdraw anyday.
Don't know, but it would be worth some finger pointing and laughs. Can you use deadly force to protect yourself, knowing that the felon just lifted a fake decoy revolver from your open holster?
One must simply pay attention of their surroundings and people! The vast majority of people have zero situational awareness.
