Even though the Motor Trend channel has gone away I still watch old episodes of RK and RKG on youtube. I really enjoyed Steve Dulcich.
Freiburger and Finnegan both have their own youtube channels and sometimes do videos with Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage.

Yes. So many interesting car shows.

One of the ones that I really found interesting because of the methodology and motivations was by Ant Anstead- he and I look at things in much the same way.

Ant Anstead Master Mechanic (2019-2020) was the name of the show. I had to resort to Google to get the correct show name, and it appears he has another series in which he restore vehicles.

Ant Anstead: Born Mechanic

It looks like his new show revolves around restoring vehicles to flip to get funds for a massive home renovation. I’ll have to check that out.

As for Gas Monkey Garage, Counting Cars, and the like- I rather enjoy the over the top personalities even though some of the “drama” gets tedious. What I really dislike is the imposed time crunch that some of these shows use. When I had my own shop, I would make it clear up front that I set the completion date.

I’ve watched them all, going back to Boyd Coddingtons show.

I live the cars, the personalities are overwhelming sometimes.

Ian Roussel and Ant both seem like good guys.

Grave yard cars does amazing work on those old Mopars, the drama is s bit much.

On youtube a guy named Fitzy, has taught me a lot.

Anyone remember Monster Garage?

Anyone recognize this?

It’s a pipe anvil. Invented by Gene Winfield. It’s for bending sheet metal.

Ian Rousel is great, he's got such a great personality. I've got all his shows too.
Ever seen his early vids when he had the side burns and beard? "Ooooh wooow man"...... He acts like a young kid stoner

I try to watch all of the car programs. My favorite is vice grip garage. Just wish they hadn’t canceled the network.
Since I’m a diehard Mopar guy, I enjoyed the builds and restoration on Graveyard Carz, but I can’t stand listening to the ahole owner Mark Worman. The outstanding work on the cars is shown in one or two episodes while the actual build takes about four years from the time you consign the car to the shop. That’s the second reason why I could never have them do any work for me, I probably wouldn’t be around where he finally got it finished.
