Suppressor for a SR-22

I have a .22 caliber suppressor for my pistol. The threads are the same as the SR-22. Has anyone added a suppressor on their SR-22?
Is the existing flash hider hard to take off from the SR-22?

I havent taken mine off but i have read thatnyou really muscle up to get it off.

yes, the have a huge gorilla at ruger that puts these things on. for mine what worked in the end was the gun in a (padded) vise muzzle up some heat, a long breaker bar and an allen wrench that went INSIDE the flash hider.....

I used a padded cresent wrench on flash reducer and held rifle between knees. Tapped cresent with plastic hammer and flash hider screwed off with no problem

I was thinking the other day about what gun I would buy for myself for Christmas this year if I can manage it and realized I should go this route and just get myself a suppressor that will fit a number of my 22s.
