I’m a fan as well. They are what I judge other options against. I’ve found some marginally better, but availability always trumps.I have and have used several types of ammo in my search for noise reduction AND terminal performance. Try a variety before deciding which works best-there's no 'one size fits all'.
In my 4" 22/45, CCI 40 grain sub-sonic HP produces both best accuracy and terminal performance.
I’ve decided the lazy one (MK III) will be used more for hunting, and less for plinking. I found a great deal on a suppressed MK IV this spring, it’s happier and easier to clean up too.I don't have any problems with the CCI subsonics in that pistol although a very similar 22/45 5.5" isn't as dependable. If function is a bit iffy, maybe try some of the subs that use heavier 42-45 grain bullets. These have worked well in a suppressed Charger that hiccups with typical 40 grain subs.
