I have been sitting here mulling over some posts, and adding a couple of my own, when the aroma of banana nut bread baking in the oven reached my nose. I paused my writing, got up and followed my nose toward the kitchen. I was a mite surprised to see Nita sitting in the living room, the TV on. There was nothing going on in our kitchen.

Nita asked me what was I doing. I told her of the aroma of baking banana nut bread.

A little surprised, Nita said, "You know, I was just thinking of making some!"

You 2 have been married way too long!

I'm just an ageing bachelor, who spends most the year living out in the sticks and rarely gets any Xmas gifts of baked goods or molasses cookies....
.

I haven't had any kind of bananna bread in years, and my favorite birthday cake is carrot..... hint...... hint.......

The previous words are purely for informational value......

p.s. I also like Browning A5's and Savage 99's........ again.... purely informational.......

That’s a riot. You guys are in sinc with each other for sure.

She probably smells gunpowder and hoppes 9 because you are thinking about your guns. Lol

Was bringing my wife back from getting tested for the virus and we drove by a house I had worked on a few years ago that is really different... and told her about it: fireplace in main living room is 8 ft wide and 3ft high and one wall in the room is made of lava rock from Hawaii .... about an hour later a guy called who wanted me to inspect the chimneys & fireplaces in a house he is buying..... it was that house. Actually happens a couple times a year.....

I may have been wrong about the lava rock... the realty description says it's from Mexico... I just know that when I first went to the house in 2002 the owners back then told me it was from Hawaii.... I hope it is from Mexico... if it's from Hawaii then that house is cursed by Pele. I'm not a very superstitious person but when I went back in the 90's to the big Island and looked down in that big hole I decided I did not want to mess with her.... I did not even bring a pebble back.
