I almost always try to park as far out as possible or reasonable when going to a big box store like Wal Mart. It's a great way to get steps in and avoid door dings on my truck.

But today, I go to Wal Mart and park out as far as I can without crossing one of the "roads" they have dividing the parking lot. I really hate walking through parking lots. So it's a double edged sword.

Anyway, here's a picture. Look how close this idiot parked next to me. I could not open my door without bumping doors on his/her car. WHY???

This is my dark grey truck and the idiot is the silver car next to it.

This actually happens pretty frequently, probably 75% or the time. I will park way far away, and a car will park right next to me. But usually not so close as this guy today.

Some retail stores have requirement's
for employees to park in the back rows. Could be that one saw your truck and was a thinking you were also a employee.
What I hate is some jerk that in a parking lot almost filled up will DOUBLE PARK his Beemer or other high end car. The smugness is unbearable. I always wonder when someone is going to key it.

Or when they take up 4 spots by parking over the center of the spots. That's when you take a whizz on their door handles! 😈

Little curious as to why he/she is an "idiot"? Seems the one car is between the lines much like the other car (don't know which is yours). You are implying that someone shouldn't park next to you ever? Granted there are LOTS of empty spaces but nothing posted that says "don't park next to someone else"

↑ And there's nothing that says that if I'm at the end of 3 open urinals that the next guy should not take the middle urinal, but you just don't effin do it 😬

I've had that parking thing happen to me so many times when I'm parked like Kevin was. There's just something about human nature that many people just have to park right next to someone when 3 spots away there are endless empty spaces.

It really chaps my ***, too!

Kevin, I think it's obvious (at least to me) that he suspected that you wanted to park in a safe spot; and he was gonna just annoy someone (you) today. There are a LOT of people who really don't know how to respectfully interact/communicate/work with others.
In the business world, they were called "behavioral problems"; they were gotten rid of, as soon as legally possible.
IMHO,
J.

Yes there are many strange people in our country. Also, many stupid people doing stupid things. That don't make any sense to others. If asked why they did something stupid, they come up with stupid crazy reasons.
And they willingly provide it in verbal and written statements to their own demise...... ;)

A pet peeve of mine too when you park far away and somebody parks next to you when there are plenty of extra spaces in the same line. That’s why I parked far away. 🙄 A common courtesy in a parking lots which many seem to lack. When the lot is crowded I don’t expect no one not to park by me.

NAAAAAAAAA Put a small pebble in the valve cap on TWO tires makes for a slow leak.
Most people don't have two spare tires.
BB's work well for that trick. In my meaner younger days I would put Neverseez under the door handles. A few times I used fresh dog poop! A little bit on the end of a playing card scraped under the handles made for some real fun especially if you saw them get in the car. Invariably they would smell their fingers!!!🤢🤮

Anti seize is the worst it NEVER comes off.

I see the parking dilemma often. It never makes sense. And for our defender of the downtrodden. I see it when I know the employees are parking somewhere else.

Many years ago I I went to the mall and parked my shiny sporty car way out in EBF, in a row that had no other cars. As I'm walking away, a guy in a shiny car pulls in right next to me.

I stopped and waited for him to catch up and asked why he parked right next to me when there were so many other open spots. He replied, "Because I know that YOU won't ding my doors."

East NW Highway? Just guessing. Sometimes I wonder if they know their car will be safe next to a person's car that is being kept safe. Other times, like this, I think they just do it to make you mad.

How about this: Not one, not two, but three cars in a row all parked BACKWARDS in the grocery store parking lot. I hate this as much as people parking backwards on the street. When I see someone coming at me the wrong way at Walmart I just stay in the middle . (not sure why the pic won't post, I even resized it).
