This is the warmest December that I can remember.
Back in 2015 December was near freezing around 29-35° F.

Gauge it off averages. I remember packing for Christmas Eve barefoot in shorts about 1984. Nearly 70* F. Today we peaked at 19. I didn’t freak out then and wouldn’t if it hit 70 this week. (Although that would be a huge swing)

It's the cars, busses, semi trucks, jets, cows farting, trees being chopped down, forest fires, ocean current shifts... that or mother nature.

When I lived in the New York Catskills (before 1976) and hunted there and the Adirondacks we had years with feet of snow, others with none. In Florida we had years with hurricanes and others (like 2025) with nearly none.

My inclination is to say, “Woe is us, the sky is falling!” However, it is warm in Missouri, as well. It is probably just the way it goes as a normal matter. But, if I anything causes warming, I would say the so-called wild fires might be having an affect.

Yeah it's been pretty cold this early in the winter season. below zero wind chill last few days. I don't mind single digits but the wind make it miserable . -49 wind chill top of Mount Washington yesterday

Back in 1980, we got about 12 inches of snow dumped on us in early November. No one was ready for it. In February 1983, we had a warm spell in the 70s.

Something to consider. The oceans control weather. Among the things they can do is moderate temperatures. For instance here we have a pretty steady and mild ocean temperature. Our coastal temperatures don't fluctuate more than five or ten degrees between night and day and only about twenty to twenty five degrees over the course of a year. The same holds true for the Atlantic coast and Gulf coast. But in a different temperature range.

But the further you get from the ocean the more extreme the temperature swings get. Still, if the oceans gain or lose a few degrees its effects on temperatures and weather patterns is significant. So a warm year or cold year isn't going to be caused by human actions. Understand the masses you are dealing with. And learn thermal dynamics. You'll understand the foolishness of climate change BS.

We've been having lows in the low 30's & highs in the 40's. Today's we had a low of 31, with a high of 62. It is supposed to get up to 66 tomorrow. Then drop to 21 the next morning with about 3 cooler days before it gets a little warmer for a minute. Georgia's weather is bipolar.

It was 50 degrees a week or so ago, it will be 25 "below the donut" tonight.

Winter arrived early around here. I'm OK with it, as I can fully appreciate the four seasons...They all serve a purpose.
And frankly, I prefer it over the "Dog Days" of Summer any 'ole time anyway.

I'll agree with you that we have climate change. That we caused it is pure bovine excrement.

Explain to me this; during the billions of years of this planet's existence, There have been periods if intense global warming and periods of intense cold and man wasn't even a gleam in the planet's eye. Guess it must have been dinosaur farts or some such. But wait, some of the changes occurred way before the dinosaurs.
Climate change is caused by man? Strikes me as being a bit on the egotistic side and a profound guilt trip for which there is no reasonable cause than can be attributed to man.
You don't have to take my word on the subject. Instead, dig a bit deeper and ignore the brainwashing BS put out by the MSM and Phds who further the lies in order to keep getting more and more government grant money.
