I was able to pick up this 4 5/8 large frame model at a very good price, it was minus any grips at the time. I had an extra set of Ruger Factory grips that I gave to my young friend that has started engraving, who lives in Augusta, GA. He decided on what they were to look like and this is what I received back from him today.

Well I'll tell you the truth what I think, it's kind of cool looking but not sure I like it.

It does look cool!
I'm not sure if I'd like those grips with some of the loads I run through my Blackhawk, but they are certainly unique-

They would be great for CAS on a warm day but may be a little rough on the hand with heavy loads.
