Some never understand

A fellow a lot smarter than me once told me that-The only thing constant in life is change. Later I learned it is a quote.

I could read the original post easily. But I am dyslexic and am left handed for some things and ambidextrous for others. They tried to break me of being left handed but all that happened was that it pissed me off.

Alas, they did break me from writing left handed. But constantly being whacked with a yardstick succeeded. Then of course they complained about my poor penmanship the rest of my time in public school.

I'm with Kevin. I can read what it is supposed to say but I don't see the point. I don't see any connection between the quote and the "text". I guess I'll never understand.

Same here. Being left handed, I remember my 5th grade teacher taping an outline on my desk for the “correct” angle the paper should be for writing.

Some teachers can be so terrible. I still hate that lady.

A friend of mine explained why being left handed was thought to be evil. The Latin word for left is sinister..
I would refuse to write on the chalkboard because I have such poor handwriting.
I had some very good teachers but I had others that I would like to visit in the cemetery after I have had coffee...

I have a touch of dyslexia myself. My second grade teacher that tried to get me put in special ed. She called it mirror vision. My mom went over there & stirred things up. After a lot of testing & my mother working with me on my reading out of the King James Bible I was still in the same class. Worst teacher I ever had. Before I graduated high school according to their standardized testing I was in the 98th percentile for language & comprehension.

Someone at work noticed one day when I was doing some layout on the floor. I had written some dimensions while facing one direction. a little further down I had turned around but wanted the writing to match so I wrote the next dimensions upside down & backwards so it would match. They started asking how I did that.
