You guys got into a big discussion about a month ago or so on different techniques of Smoker cooking. I have tried to search but unable to find it. Does anyone remember when it was as I got a new Brinkman charcoal smoker for Fathers Day.

Thanks
Dave

Just saw Contender's post and that was what I was looking for.
Thanks Ty

I've got the same smoker and use it for everything from drunken chicken to brisket to ribs and sausage.
This is my second one and the best advice is cook low and slow, use good hardwood along with charcoal and clean up the ash pan after each use or it will rust through quick.
Have a great time with it.
