I hate to see stuff like this. The man gave you the money, now send him the gun or his money back! Or if something has happened let him know what's up! This is why I will not buy anything from someone that has not been on the forum for a long time with a name I know.
AzShooter1,, aka James has been around here a while. I don't think he's the type to rip anybody off. Sometimes life happens,,, too quickly. I know,, as I was seemingly ok,, and the next thing I know,, I was in the hospital.
I haven't gotten the impression that James is a scammer.
But I also realize that good communication is paramount in any trading. Let's hope this gets resolved quickly.
"You're dealing with James Gaglio. I sent you my home address too."
"My personal PayPal account got a ban on it because of 2A mentions in the notes. Damian and Michael are just colleagues who I asked for their accounts to ease this transaction."
This looks like a hacked account scam to me. Unfortunately, may be very difficult to track down the actual perpetrators.
Reminder: unless you personally know all parties, don't send payment to third-party payment accounts. Not just PayPal. Wife is an accountant, a common business scam is a fake email changing bank account info for accounts payable.
You can go to the USPS website, enter your money order number to see if cashed. I would recommend a talk with your local Postmaster on Monday. Had a similar situation years ago and Postmaster was very helpful. Good luck.
A phone call. This is terrible for the buyer but dont send money without a phone call. Scammers dont talk guns on the phone. I have been in buyers shoes, never again without a phone call.
