I am considering a trade for a Ruger Single Six 32 H&R Magnum with reloading equipment and components. what is their respective value? I would want to trade it or sell to pick up a sp101 22lr 8 shot for my girlfriend. any comments.

Good question, $300-$900 depending on:
Condition.
With or w/o box.
Fixed or adj sights.
If fixed, blue or stainless finish.
If stainless 3 3/4" or 4 5/8" barrel and
standard or birdshead grip.
If adjustable sights standard or Bisley Model and
4 5/8", 5 1/2", 6 1/2" or 9 1/2" barrel.
If Bisley, fully adj sights or windage adj only.
Brand and pieces of reloading gear.
Number and type of components.

If you get it and want to trade it for something else, don't shoot it first. ....you might just find it is a really fun little pistol and cartridge and keep it.

Like Hondo said, need more info to give a value. If you decide to move it selling it and the components won't be hard here.

As noted, there are a LOT of variables on the 32 H&R mags to consider. we'd need a lot more info. Certain models are desirable collectables.

ok here are some pics I just got:

its a 1985 production. I don't think the box comes with it.
does that look like an aluminum frame?

The 32mag should bring $450 and the reloading dies and components $50 -$70
Check Gun Broker, 32 Mag's are selling well. Now a 32 Bisley fixed sight might bring twice as much. I have four different 32's and would not sell any. You need to shoot that 32, you may want to keep it.

Thanks I appreciate the help. now I can trade my mauser for it and try to trade it or sell it with confidence that I am offering reasonable deal. this way I can get a sp101 22lr 8 shot for my girlfriend. Then all will be good in ruger land.

Good photos. Yes it clearly looks like an alum alloy grip frame; it's black and doesn't match the gun at all. That is a " Super Single Six Magnum" model w/ adj sights, a 4 5/8" barrel and it looks to be in very nice condition. The ER housing is alloy as well.

No, just for the gun. I don't know what components you get with it, but one 100 rd box of jacketed bullets (not cartridges) could be worth $60, set of dies $20, brass $.15 each. Does a reloading press come with it? Powder? Primers are worth $30-40/box of 1000.

ok finally had a chance to check whole deal out. it came with lee dies, 250 berry 32 cal 83 gr hollow base wade cutter bullets and 100 pieces of starline brass.

The cosmetics on the gun are depicted in the pics are accurate. it is in excellent working order.

I guess I will put it up for trade or sale when I get home tonight.
