Shorter leg corrected

Since a lot of you fine persons on this forum have made quite a few comments about my one leg being somewhat shorter than the other one. I had a chance to visit the local piano manufacturing shop today and they helped me to get a replacement for my shorter leg. Now I will be able to walk a straight line and be somewhat more normal like some of you fine members here. If you are quite observant here you will notice that my walking stick is not a factory polished and decorated one.

What could be better than one new replacement leg than having a matched set. They had one that had a knot hole in it so they couldn't use it. They gave it to me saying to put the knot hole in the back so I wouldn't be able to see it and everything would be just fine, because no-one would talk about me behind my back. If this makes me a hillbilly, I apologize now, but I just have to do what ever I can get away with.

Where were you 2 weeks ago when I planted my garden ? I could have had you walk the mounds, and followed behind you, planting the seeds and sprouts :lol: . The good thing about that pegleg is if you get an itchy back, just unscrew it, and use it as a make shift back scratcher.

Come on callshot, tell us how you really lost your leg !

Callshot (cantshoot) is usually pretty open when talking about his wooden leg, now when you mention his eye he can really get up tight! His shooting eye (right) is artificial & its not glass, its wood!
Even with the rather severe handicap he usually manages to keep up pretty good if we don't walk to far but he got really nasty friday when he called to see if I wanted to hunt some squirrels, my innocent response was, would I, would I.....wood eye!
