New-to-me.
Ruger Vaquero(original). 45 Colt. Brass, birdshead grip frame. It came with the satin finish stocks(on gun) and a set of high polish 'presentation" grips.

Thanks. I wanted a birdshead for a while now. The brass frame sealed the deal.
Having never fired a birdshead I for sure felt the extra recoil vs a plow handle. Not bad though. HOWEVER...with a 325grain hardcast going 1325 ft/sec it was a bit unpleasant. But I really like it anyway.
Being a Bowen is a plus for me.
