A while back I had posted a WTB add looking for some SR medallions to use for a set of grips that I was going to have made for my latest NM treasure, the stainless 41 mag Bisley flattop that I was lucky enough to find. Unfortunately it came with a set of "Hard R" medallions in the factory grip panels. They had to go but I was shocked to find that I had used my last set of SR medallions on another project and did not have a set available. A WTB post here resulted in a multitude of offers for medallions to make this gun correct. I arrived home this afternoon and the grip frame and new panels had arrived from Chigs Grips and work took a side bar to getting it put back together.
I told Chad I wanted a dark wood to go with the stainless, but it had to have some grain showing. It's hard to see it in the pictures, and even harder to get a closeup with the lighting I had but they are beauties.
