If the Croatians the Czechs and Austrians can build a better gun time and time again maybe Americans should learn from this.

Gee I don't know the quality issue that didn't exist 5 years ago. Barrel peening is becoming more and more of an issue. It should never happen to the level it is happening with Rugers. No other major manufacturer has issues to the point Ruger does. I love my Rugers I am just disappointed.
Checked my Sig P226 (German mfg). No Peening on barrel or slide. Just sort of a polishing of mating surfaces
Checked my Sig P220 (German mfg). Peening on left side of barrel. No apparent peening on slide
Checked my Glock 17G4. Very minor peening on the barrel. Peening full length of slide/barrel mating surface on slide
Checked my Glock 21G4. No apparent peening of barrel, just polishing from mating surfaces. Peening full length of slide/barrel mating surface on slide
Older Sig P226's had some issues -- http://www.cybershooters.org/dgca/sig-sauer_p226.htm
Here us some History with Glock (They have issues too, but they seem cover them up).
Some models of Glock are only made to use glock lights, and have reliability issues when used with surefire, etc. Fixed for LEO's, not for civilians

I do not have specifics on the XDm's but I seem to recall some accuracy issues when they first came out.
I do not have specifics on the CZ but I seem to recall some models/calibers could be far less than accurate.
