Ruger 9mm

I was at the LGs yesterday they had a ruger 9mm nice stainless model . I live in California didn't know a model was California complaint thought the only semi auto were the lcp models really like this one it had a notch you line up to field strip but he and I try to take out the level it would not come out . He tried for a while price was right 499.00 use I like it but not if you can't take it apart and clean it anyway I was surprised never seen thst model wish I toke pictures . I like to found out what model number it is

Guessing it might have been a Ruger American - if I remember correctly, they are labeled "RUGER" but don't have the model name showing on the slide.

As always FWIW, YMMV, etc.

Is it a P series gun ? If it's a P series, it will come apart but you have to press down on the extractor after removing the magazine and of course making sure the chamber is empty.

Just run the s/n thru Rugers web site and it'll say which model it is.
