Looked in search, couldn't find anything, so . Has anyone bought one of these? really smooth action, nice blue, priced high. Wondering if it would make a nice BBQ gun, anyone?

A good review on GunBlast:

I would guess the Royal Phoenix GP-100 is the top of the line. Since there is no 'Custom Shop' at Ruger this is probably as good as it gets.  :D

Simply stunning. wish I had the money right now. If those things are around for awhile I must have one.(Wishful thinking) They will probabally go like hotcakes.

This is the beautiful part:

But the finish is nice too.

Seems that these BBQ things are to look fancy and make a visual impression. More impressed with a good working fun than some fancy schmancy polished up thing.

I only shoot five. It works out better on a box of ammo. I get ten groups, instead of eight and one third.

Huh. I do the same thing. Nice to know I'm in good company. :D

Same here - but it started with shooting old models and skipping one hole. Then there is the SP101 that only lets me have 5 parking spots anyway.
