I was wondering if there was any opions about the threaded barrels (for silencer) available for the 1022.

I have several carbine models and was thinking about a factory tapper, 16 1/2", and with sights. Hi-Desert Dog has them listed on their web site (but out of stock)

I don't know about going with a heavy 0.92", since it would require sanding out the stock's barrel channel.

Any dealings with H-DD?

Any experiance with threaded barrels?

Well, I use a .920 bbl on one of mine. Don't bother trying to sand out a bbl channel, just get a pre-cut stock to drop it in.
As for H-DD, or threading bbls,, I have no experience.

Its really easy to sand out the stock for fit. A 7/8" dowel makes it even and wrapped with some 80 grit paper and you will be done in no time.

I have a Tactical Solutions .920 16.25" barrel that is very light. Its not as accurate as a full weight bull barrel but it works well and matches the profile of the suppressor.

A TS was the other barrel I was thinking about. Like the H-DD, black seems to be sold out at this time.
So can I take your comment as a "recomended"

You only have to sand out the very front part of the fore grip on the stock... not the whole fore grip run... not really that hard. I've done it with two Butler Creek composite stocks.

But actually I'd go with a standard 16.5" barrel threaded.... less weight.

The TS is lighter than a standard barrel, I used a factory DSP walnut stock and I had to sand out about 3/4 of the barrel channel.

Yea, JFB, I'll recommend the TS, its on my gopher setup and its accurate enough for gophers offhand out to about 50 yards.

I ordered the TS from Midway and got on the backorder list, it was just a few days longer because they seem to sell out as quick as they get them in.
