New 10/22 Takedown w/threaded barrel

While the takedown feature may be 'cool' to some anyway, I see no advantage to a firearm that must be 'assembled' before use. Just not on my 'want' list.
Maybe I'm being obstinate and although many are convinced there's no accuracy disadvantage, I can't see how a 'slip fit' connection between barrel and receiver (where the optic is mounted) can achieve repeatable, acceptable accuracy.
Sorry, I'm stubborn and just don't see the logic.

I agree, and it cannot, at least not to any degree that I would acceptable to me. I could see it with irons only, or an optic mounted on the barrel, but not with an optic on the receiver. But then I don't trust QD scope mounts either.
