Redhawk SHOT Show Update

When the Reds resume production, they will NOT be made in the new plant.
Super Reds will be, but when they come back, the Reds will remain in the old plant.
And don't ask when that'll be.

Mayodan seems like a whole lot of plant just for Super Reds... Any ideas on what else is going to be produced there?

Maybe we'll see some variety in the SRH lineup. Perhaps a Match Champion.

The new plant will produce other things besides the Super Reds, but I didn't ask specifically what.
Mentioned they'd like to run about 500 employees there.

Sure hope they do resume production. The Redhawk is a very fine revolver. I presently own a 4". Had some work done to it , it is one nice weapon.

They will be resuming production, it's just not ready yet. I too spoke to them at SHOT. Some of the American 22 rifles are being made in NC if I recall correctly.

Yea, I heard that many RAR will be made there, esp. rimfires
