Out of Stock at Davidsons. Any idea if these will ever be back?
What would be a fair price for one, if one had found a 5.5" and a 7.5"????They did make it in a square butt. It was the original 6-shot version. (Good luck finding one!)
Seems the new reissues have hurt the value of the old originals. That's often the case.found a 5.5" and a 7.5"?
I have a 5.5" on my watch list. Starting bid of $950. Not sure I want it that bad. I bought a 7.5" 45 Colt face to face from AR15.com for $800. Thought that was fair.Seems the new reissues have hurt the value of the old originals. That's often the case.
On GunBroker NONE of the 5.5 inch models have sold, even with opening bid requested of $1100 or so.
One 7.5 inch did sell without a box for $806
Many feel the newer 8-shot versions have hurt the values of the older 6-shot ones. Maybe they have to some folks. But to a person who collects, or who wants the most robust, easiest shooting .357 with serious loads will not let go of their 6-shot models easily or cheaply.
